That's freaking awesome.

Young minds at work! Considering I'm part of this generation, I'm worried about most of us.

But she is definetly on the right track, she saw an issue, she fixed it. Nothing wrong with her making profit off of something so simple.

The real question, what if you put a 6" log in there. And hit it with a sledge? I would assume it'd be strong enough?

I don't think it's the best thing since sliced bread, but like you, admire that she identified a problem and found a solution, at her age. (look at all the crowdfunded inventions which are a solution to a non-existant problems)
They're selling well apparently, so good on her.

I wonder how it would go with a couple more blades in the bottom - split one piece of wood into four, say?
