Its because that's the new plier design. The Wave in the pic is stamped 03-23-18
Is there any benefit for why they changed the pliers design
My Vic Spirit S has got damaged teeth at the front caused by the previous owner. These are very fine too and therefore less durable. And face it, how many times do you use pliers for that ultra fine pulling work? You'd need tweezers for that I don't think this is a bad move from LM... at all!
But then if you don’t want teeth marks You shouldn’t use pliers Only the correct tool for the job
So I take it there is no longer a problem with the pliers

Sometimes all a man has is a set of pliers, a little ingenuity, and some determination.

I wish there was some way I could use it exclusively for about a month straight , test all the design features, post some action pics, give some insight, and draft up a summary.
Maybe we could call it a 30 day challenge

I don't know though.... my belt of 10 years finally broke last week. Guy I'm too hefty or the tool was. I'm blaming that weighty Wave . Yeah. I'm blaming the MT weight for my belt issue too! Quote from: Wspeed on August 04, 2018, 09:22:19 PMJust think how quickly your belt would of broken with the Surge hanging of it The Surge is incredibly light....If you take into account the strength, size and functionality. But, you're right, it'll make a belt sag a bit over time. You need one, W!
