Has anyone brought this up.....

Per the recent ALOX Scissor revelation/news it was also mentioned by VIC that there would be NO MORE Special COLOR runs for Dealers....

This may be the the last run.......

Maybe, but I just read something last night about Cutleryshoppe getting exclusive alox Minichamps down the line.

I'm curious which one will end up being the most popular color.

I would say copper as the others have been around in the past.

The news of this drop was also on the FB alox page. Got a blue farmer so now I don't feel bad for using the other one I have as a user.

+1  I got one of each color so that frees up two colors to carry.  Green and Blue.

For the orange farmer, customers were limited to 2 each...

Now that there are more models/colours released, will we be limited to 2 knives for each model/colour or 2 knives in total?

I would hope 2 of the same part number. Or else you could get a cadet and pioneer but no farmer, that would be crap!
Anyone know if there's a limit?

So happy I checked the forum last night. I ordered a couple of each. I don't really think I'll like the blue. The 'copper' is probably my favorite, but I'm happy to see we at least got a colored pioneer. And the orange cadets are cool. I would have liked gold or a more obscure color like the ones you see Swissbianco come up with. Still, it's better than nothing.  :D

This should hold me over until Victorinox launches a new yearly  color and the alox/ scissors knives.

Honestly, I'm not even a huge farmer fan (prefer a thinner model usually.) But I keep ending up with them since they seem to get more of the exclusive runs.

We need more ranchers, electricians, and colored pioneers!  (Of those, I only even have pioneers)

A Harvester or the now defunct Electrician Plus in a run like this would be fab. The Farmers look great! Never can one have too many Farmers, no?  :salute:

I'm in the same boat (or hopefully airplane). But I got an extra Blue one.

Now have to decide if the second one is for carry or to "de-saw" and have the matching Pioneer. I did that with one of the Orange CS Farmers last time.

Will probably go the latter route and then I can use the saw layer to make up a Black with Red shield Farmer from my second black/red Pioneer. I like the pairs.

Wish I could have afforded theextra to double up on the olive and copper ones too. Not that I could really afford the 4 I bought... Look for my "coming soon" for sale thread of other items.

I received my shipping notice.

I believe they were ready for heavy buying activity for these models and have responded accordingly.

Kudos to the Cutlery Shoppe not only for such an efficient response but for offering these knives at reasonable prices without price gouging.

I ordered two blue farmers today and my order could not get thorough. I called and they said they got it, it would take a couple of days to confirm. They said they were getting hammered with orders...

The prophecy has begun... There's now plenty of blue and copper farmers available on eBay at $99 buy-it-now, free shipping.

I will assume the prices will go up again after a while. $99 is low compared to what they were selling for a few weeks ago. There have been plenty of Greens recently but not any copper ones, so the copper ones should be more in demand.

The plus side of buying them from cuttleryshoppe is that, even if they do not go up in value you should be able to sell them for at least what you paid for them, as they were about the cost of a regular farmer.
