Removable Bit Driver
on: January 14, 2007, 09:00:28 PM
Does anyone know if the Removable Bit Driver kit for the Blast/Fuse/Kick & Juice will fit the Core, the Leatherman Website suggests it's a seperate kit for the Core.

The Blast kit is available at most suppliers in the UK but I can't find the Core kit?

The Removable Bit Driver works great on the Core. I wish all multitools had a phillips screwdriver that long....

FWIW Leatherman offers a bit driver set for the Core. Go into the accessories section at leatherman.com and click on bit driver kits and scroll down. They show a seperate driver set for the Core.

Huh. I never noticed that before. I wonder why they have a special Core bit adapter? The regular one fits fine.   ???

The picture of the "Core" adapter looks identical to the picture of the regular adapter. I notice you can't "view large" on the Core one though.

Weird. I just checked the fit on mine again. The Core phillips screwdriver bit fully engages into the (regular) Removable Bit Driver. I can't see how it could possibly fit together any better than it does.

I've got no idea why they have a special "Core" one.

I believe what make that kit different is the length of the sheath for the longer core tool not the bits or driver
