Found my first SAK! '95 Wenger Soldier.

Why hello multitool.org!
For my first post, I bring to you the fruits of cleaning up the basement of my childhood home:
My long lost Wenger Soldier made in 1995!

Eleven year old me had some Pretty good taste!

Here you can see the tang stamp, and that the backspring is slightly proud when open.

The worst of the wear. I remember babying the hell out of this thing, so it's in pretty decent condition, save for a sloppy sharpening job done at some point.

Any tips for bringing this vet back into everyday action? I've oiled it, but that's as far as I've gotten.

Welcome to the forum. Glad you found your old friend.

As for cleaning, warm soapy water and an old toothbrush followed by a few drops of oil when it's dry should be enough.

Also, no need for such HUGE pictures. 800/600 or something in the 1000 px range should be more than enough. 5000/3000 is overkill, especially with multiple pictures.

There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!
