RE Factor Wilderness Survival Card
on: July 03, 2015, 05:15:14 PM
A video for this product came up in my youtube feed...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qAK4iBHwCT4

It seemed a lot more practical or ACTUALLY useful than the Readyman Hostage Escape Card.

Here's a link to the company's sale page for this thing...
http://www.refactortactical.com/wilderness-survival-card/

I'm not a paid spokesperson, no affiliation, etc. Just thought it was interesting. In the video, one of the things I found interesting was that they seemed to think the saw was actually useful. I would have liked to see them try to use the needles, too, but... well...

Those actually are from ReadyMan. They did a promotion were if you signed up for the newsletter they'd send you up to 5 for the "cost of shipping" aka about 3usd each. So I have a couple coming at some point.
 :mail:
Then they try and sell you on the "upgraded subscription" for 20usd and offer all 4 cards as a bonus for the cost of shipping. Gotta love marketing dept. , they just keep trying.

The 4 styles are;
Survival- see above
Urban Escape- handcuff shims, 2lockpick tools, mini-saw and a couple other gismos I cant remember.
Lock Pick- a 5-6pc set of picks
AR Cleaning, a set of carbon scrapers for cleaning an AR's BCG

Interesting concepts, I guess I'll get to see how sturdy/usable they are. ???

I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.

I am a city boy so If I have arrow heads.....maybe I can figure out how to mount them on, but
Still don't know how to make the stabilizer
Still don't have a bow
Still don't know how to make a bow
Still don't know how to use a bow
Still don't know how to find any small animals
Still don't know how to hit the targets
Still don't know how to cook up the things I shot

I better off spend money on stocking up MRE.
