Can anyone tell me about this knife?
It's a KulturGut AG official Victorinox Licensed Knife.

It's a Swisschamp, but as for the scales - no idea. Nice model  :tu:

It's a knife dedicated to old castle in Germany called "Neuschwanstein" (http://www.neuschwanstein...englisch/palace/index.htm)

I have a similar Spartan with the same scales (http://leaf-vics.blogspot.com/2014/11/187-spartan.html) - bought 2 years ago, when I was there

Cool, I have four of those KulturGut knives: http://www.vicfan.com/2015/03/victorinox-spartan-schloss-neuschwanstein/
I think the one you posted is a scale swap but I'm not sure. Relisted on eBay several times.
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

Looking at the scales, both sides appear identical in pattern as compared to the spartan model above, except there is no Victorinox shield with cross on either side. The blade has Victorinox stamped on it. It looks to be a present swisschamp version. Perhaps it is indeed a scale swap. Will know more today when the mail arrives with the package.

Hmm, now this is very interesting, Reinier. The knife scale pattern is exactly the same as your huntsman, except it is indeed a swisschamp.
And the base plastic color is a dark blue, visible when looked at from the sides of the knife. The blade is chemical etched just as yours is "Licensed by ...... KulturGut AG" The etching is exactly as read on your knife. The scales are absolutely perfect both in surface and in pattern. The only hinky thing is that the Victorinox shield and cross are missing. Looks too damn perfect to be a fake, otherwise why would a forger go to all this trouble making the scales. The market is rather small for a knife like this. I'll try to contact KulturGut AG and see what they have to say about this model.
Have you any further input on this?

Ah I didn't know that SC also has the etched blade. I'm sure it's genuine. I've never seen a SwissChamp on their website, usually the smaller models.

I have a Scenic SwissChamp for Neuschwanstein, but the KulturGut is a Spartan.

The knife blade etching is the same as the same as the huntsman. The spartan is all together different in size but slightly similar pattern on the handles.  Too much detail involved for the swisschamp to be a fake. I have an email out to the manufacturer top try and get some verification. The castle is indeed beautiful in it's unique design. Perhaps it was a unique prototype manufacture for evaluation of the retail potential. For $105, it is well worth the price.
