Custom Flashlights.

I wanted a custom light,so I started a search on the internet.It wasn't long before I realized that I was out of my depth in this area.The plethora of custom lights was astonishing.These customs ranged all the way up to 3k in price.The builders only limitation appears to be his imagination.

Since I don't have much imagination,so my wife tells me,I settled upon a conventional looking light from a known builder,Gene Malkoff.

I wanted a larger light,something on the order of my first light,a Maglite 2-cell light.

Here it is the Malkoff Devices "Hound Dog".It boasts 1000 lumens at the top end with a tight spot "thrower" and a second option of 70 lumens activated by rotating the head.

The first two pics show the light with the name and made in USA stamp.

The third pic shows this light compared to a Surefire P3X Fury.

The last is a stock photo comparing its size to that of a two c-cell Maglite.

PS: I neglecter to mention that this light is powered either by four primary 123's or two rechargeable 18650's.
