Okay, buckleys chance of anyone having one of these, but it can not hurt to ask, and at the very least I might bring some attention to an Aussie product, and that can not be a bad thing.

I found these advertised near one of my lurking spots out in the green lands east of the rocky edifices (die kalten Berge) that separates civilisation from the Red Waste.

They are a little pricey for my means, but I like they are locally made.

On the off chance someone has one, what do you think?
Failing that, any axe enthusiasts care to chime in with their views based on pics alone?

(Second link has better pictures, first link is the manufacturer.)

I’m not sure what the ridges do and I’m not sure why there’s a pin
But I am sure I like the look of them and I want one now  :D

They look good. Wouldnt mind trying one out. But they are way out of my price range for a axe.     :)

Absolutely!  :o :o

$250 is way too steep for me. I'm also a little confused that the desription mentions both hand forged, and details in the casting. That sounds to be like a cast blank which is only forged near the cutting edge - not as tempting a recipe as a fully forged GB or Hultafors for example

I did notice that Cast / Forged thing as well (in the same caption, no less).

While that price is hefty, its not really any worse that what we end up paying for certain US products or other imports. I can understand not wanting to pay that and then get it sent from here though.

(I currently rock a Husqvarna that set me back 50 ´roos, and fair dues it cuts things fine)

If I have a mind to I might call on the maker and see if they can persuade me.
