How about we bury a SOG and a Vic in adjacent plots. Then we only have to wait 1 year for 3 tools to be tested in roughly equal conditions.
Problem with this kind of project is we have wait a whole year to see the result.
Add a string to the tool and pin it to the shed, so you find it easily next year
It is also worth noting that the degree to which I compact the dirt (re: water infiltration) may play as much role in this as anything in determining the outcome. But I tried to conduct this burial in the same manner previously done in order to get consistent results.It is also possible that after the dirt compacts, the tomb may be relatively dry except for whatever moisture naturally occurs in the soil. I think this must be the case.
