The second hand market is full of bikes with hardly any mileage. The best thing is you can park nearly everywhere

Yeah both need a license, both diff, I almost got my bike license but things fell through,
I’m sure there’s a BIG diff between the two, I mean heck just being able to open the window on whatever auto when the weather changed and sticking your arm out or feeling the fresh breeze on the face was great just while driving was great!

Testing the bike just now and I let the engine get up to operating temperature
And I was constantly keeping a eye on the engine and under the tank
With a inspection light and I didn’t get any leaks and the engine sounds really nice
Now I just need to take it for a test ride
but at the moment we have really strong winds
And I don’t want to get blown off the road by strong gusts of wind
Especially when I need to take it over the speed limits  :ahhh
Not that I ever do that on a normal ride   :whistle:

We often have a strong wind here, so I'm used to riding with a bit of a breeze. However, on one trip, coming back from South Dakota, I got hit with seriously powerful cross-winds. It wa hard to keep the bike in one lane. Which was scary. 

I pulled off the road and hid in a truck stop to let the wind die down. It wasn't long until the truck stop was full of bikers, all taking refuge from the wind. We had a good time drinking coffee, eating pie, and swapping motorcycle stories and tips.

You have to respect a strong wind when you are on a bike.

I have been in some nasty strong winds and it was hard to keep it in one lane
Had to really slow the speed down on the bike
and even then I still got pushed around by the wind
Today we have strong gusts of wind one minute and nearly
wind still the next but they are very strong when you do get them  :facepalm:

Tomorrow and Wednesday we are getting heavy rain and thunderstorms
So again I won’t go out in that sort of weather I did that
enough when I was younger riding on my 125cc Yamaha TZR
Before I had a car I would go out in all weathers
But that is something I don’t want to do again  :D
