So lets see what is the hubbub with these Swiss Pocket knives.

So broke down and ordered one of my first non locking blade knives in over twenty years.

Package came looking like it had a hard journey to finally make it to my home.

I am quite pleased with the amount of tools from the SwissChamp and still how comfortable it is sitting in my pocket.

First thing I wanted to make sure of though is I had the latest version with the glass magnifier that pops out of place.

Which literally was useful the moment it came out of the box when after I updated ShowBox on my tablet it required one of those frustrating number and letters mixed in with a crazy background to make sure you are a person to get access to the app. Which they made so small on the screen!!

They were offering free engraving so decided to use my internet name I use just about everywhere.

I could easily see this one being my new weekend carry.

Looks like you picked out a winner for yourself.

The postal service surely did a number on the box though. Wow. Glad your knife didn't manage to slip out somewhere along the line on its way to you.

Did they play street hockey with your box or what? I swear, UPS is the worst. I have years of stories dealing with their incompetence.
Edit; Nice knife though. Sapphire always looks great and the SwissChamp is a lot of tool.

I think you'll find that a locking blade is more of a fantasy requirement than a real one.

Congrats on the new purchase.

It will be hard to go back to a tactical folder with no tools after carrying this for a couple days. ;)

I actually never had a use for a tactical knife. Instead I carried my Powerlock since the late 90s weekdays and weekends. More recently I made this one my weekend carry. I just love this little multitool.

And even more recently this one.

One of my favorites. I really am considering the newer version.
