Military Issue Core?

Here's a pic of the numbers stamped into a Core I recently purchased. The arrow looks similar to the stamps on other objects I have seen which were intended for military use. Can anyone shed a little light on the subject?
As for the tool itself there isn't anything I can add over what has been said by other members here. I think I like it, although I need to wear braces now when I'm carrying the Core in my pocket  :D

Thanks mate. Dave's Core has same numbers as mine. Date codes on mine are 07 07 and 09 07.

The "Arrow" is definately MOD(ministry of defence)UK.  Possibly accessable by any NATO element :think:

Looks like the Core could be issued to NATO/British forces then? It adds a little something to the ownership  :)

You called  :D I'm juggling my time at the moment with multitool.org and lifeboat stuff .I'm really getting my head round this VHF radio stuff plus I'm doing a bit with GPS and Lat/longs


   Anyway back to the Core  ( why can't my Core have those Markings  :( )  That Crows foot could mean its from Canada or Australia as well as Britain . Dave did get his from a Brit Soldier so I'd say its safe to assume its British issue .I can't offer any more info at this time but I am eager to find more out . Multimat has a Rather fetching Vic BO Swisstool with the Crows foot and NATO Number thats Aussie issue .
