Tool Polishing
on: August 01, 2015, 05:42:34 AM
I put a polishing wheel on my grinder I never cared for it to much then I started using my Dremal it worked but it was really slow. I was at Harbor Fright the other day I saw a polishing kit that came with two small buffing wheels and white and red polishing compound. I use the small buffing wheels in my drill press. The drill press work great! I used one wheel with the brown compound then finished up with a dry wheel. It only took a minutes per mulitool to polish. The polishing kit was only 4.99.

Tony, Thank you in the summer you can find me in my garage from 3 or 4am until it starts getting hot. In the winter I keep a propane heater fired up. I even have a large tube TV hooked up to satellite. It's my favorite room in the house. If you want I can take some pic and post them later.

I polished out a old SAK Craftsman yesterday i polished all the tools I did the back springs as well. I really fine tune the multi tools  I use because I don't have full use of my hands right now. I polished the ends of the multi tools really well it helps a lot some of my tools even snap back kinda like a SAK. I still need to use a P-38 to open tools.

My garage is nothing fancy but it works for me.

I work on projects, read the paper and enjoy my morning coffee at this table.

My TV it keeps me company during the day. I also like watching sports in the summer I watch Giants games at night.

These are some cabinets my nephew picked up from a job.

These are my work benches I love having a grinder, drill press and 1 inch belt sander set I use them all the time. The 1 inch belt sander is one handy tool. It is just Harbor Fright stuff but it works.
Check out my new to me 7 UP cooler.

This is my portable loading press. I made the stand. I have loaded shells  in tents, campers, motel rooms, living room, bed room and range.
I also cast my own bullets and round balls. I even make my own black powder. My garage can be a busy place.

It´s a little small, is it not?  ;)

Do you ever bother to go inside the house?
