Worse than a Hurricane....

It seems that the remains if Patricia pushed the Red Tide from Panama City into my Area.

It's airborne and these photos were taken this morning not even 10 minutes away.

This Marina is the home base of Destin Fishing Charters and almost all of Destins economic structure

Looks like it's going to be rough the next few weeks. No fishing for me.

We're getting hit with a lot of rain and high winds as a spinoff of Patricia. It's been raining since this morning and coming down hard and sometimes almost horizontal since about 2pm. Made the commute home a 'fun' experience.

Our dams are empty, our early rain season is over, and at my house we had 6mm max.....  :cry:

What clean up? Lol

The state, and the fed. Agencies don't believe in intervening. So it either decays naturally or local volunteers have to pick it up.

If you can get them in time people will use them for fertilizer, but at a certain point they are just too far gone.
