Yes, you  :pok:

Styx won with reply 39, but I put post 39 in the announcement. If you factor in my OP, post 39 is reply 38, which is yours. As it had already taken me several attempts at drawing a winner who wasn't me  ::) I decided to make you both winners  ;)

If you're still confused, don't worry about it, I have that effect of people sometimes  :D just send me a PM with you prize choice and addy, and we can all get back to taking the piss out of Kirky and Monrogue  >:D

So far so good, but this is the second time this very worrying and acute episode has occurred. Both times had similar symptoms, but this time it happened at home with people present, AND this time there was indications of cardio trouble (both from blood tests, and brief periods of lagging heart rate). Both times we've been palmed off by A&E with the diagnosis of "probably an infection" after all the tests, but we'll be taking the issue up with the family doctor, and seeking further investigation.

Thankfully this time it happened at home with people around, and we could all see events unfold and call for immediate assistance, unlike last time when they were just discovered unconscious on a side street with the car door open and a pool of vomit outside (we previously thought an exhaust problem had led to carbon monoxide poisoning) and nobody informed the family, even after being taken to hospital!

Just an infection? What the smurf are those people abusing? This is why even those funny cigarettes shouldn't be legalized, much less the harder stuff these smurfholes are obviously on. Heads should roll!  :viking: :viking:

Glad you can do something about it but still this negligence is abysmal and superfluously myopic raising of one's profession at the cost of actual professionalism.

A&E are good for dealing with serious issues, but as soon as they see recovery they don't want to know anymore. They're more concerned with hitting targets and freeing up beds for the next in line than they are at accuracy. They just want you out of immediate danger, then out of the department. Hopefully the progression through normal channels should be more productive (albeit a slower process)

Lets wake this back up again  :D

Once I've completed my SAK mods, I'll be looking at selling more stuff on again and possibly giving more stuff away too  :D the current SAK mods are changing my views on items I was considering keeping, in as much as those items are now less appealing than the ones I've just modified. There's a couple more pliers based mods on the cards too, upgrades of previous mods actually.

There are a couple of things I'd like to throw open for discussion though......

Most folks here know I've been pretty scathing of the Juice line in the past, but they do have their place, and I quite like the idea of keeping one of them (at least for now).

I currently have the CS4, KF4, and XE6

The grey CS4 has a corkscrew, scissors, awl, can opener, bottle opener, and a non locking knife blade. None of these are as good as the ones on a SAK, but you can get by with them. With the pliers, Phillips, saw, and flat drivers too, arguably this is a tool that you could carry on it's own and not need to carry a SAK.

The KF4 is different. It doesn't have SAK type offerings, but it does add the rather excellent diamond file and a serrated knife blade. I'm not going to count the ruler on the scales, as any coating on Juice scales should be considered temporary anyway  ;) That said, the coating on this Juice is Solar Yellow and I have a yellow Climber I could pair it with to fulfil all other functions from the CS4. However that does mean carrying two tools

The XE6 has the lot, but when that's in your pocket you know about it.

CS4 as a light carry one tool solution, KF4 and yellow Climber for a more capable two tool combo, or XE6 in maybe a jacket pocket or seat bag on the bike? Which one of these should stay?
