Been pretty quiet for me. I may have indoctrinated a new person to leatherman though after using the squirt the other day. Work colleague on training course saw me using it and asked what it was. I showed her and she was impressed. She reckons she'll get one now!

Hello, a bit of news from France.
Mainly use the file on my finger nail (it sucks compared to the style ps file for this use), and many beer bottle opening. Not the best bottle opener, need to be done in 2 times.
I've done some repair on my shower, but the ps4 was damn too small, i ask my wife to try with the surge and it wasn't able too, so i take a big falcom plier to do the work.

I've done an air trip during 1 week to see my dad so no ps4 for me during this period, as the blade cannot pass the airport security. 1 week without any multitool (i didn't bring my style ps, as part of the challenge) was a pain in the a**. And i cannot find my old wave at my dad's house, he must had lose it...

Finally some use of the other tools from me, not just the blade. I tried to put my Fenix LD02 clip on my 4Sevens Q Mini... which worked out, but then the clip had become obviously slightly looser for the LD02, so I had to bend it back.

Then there was that getting loose screw ... on a saucepan.

Used the fixed part of the scissors as a seam ripper to remove a sewn on tag from a stuffed animal. Definitely not the toughest job it's seen, but stretches the versatility

And I cut some paper to add some "sheets" to my favourite notebook. Notebook = paper + hair pin + SBL CC wallet

Not the smoothest of a cut, but oh well.

This challenge has been harder than i was expecting. Especially since i scored that Leatherman Charge ALX BO, and i can't use it until next month!.

I've always carried a full sized MT on me (even at my office job). This challenge has made me feel like i'm walking around naked.

hi all,
even though I left the challenge as I've violated its rules by using a different MT, I've kept using the squirt daily. cutting and filing nails, opening boxes, but mainly the phillips driver, to open and close battery doors in toys and other stuff.
Also to cut cotton strings for sewing back a handle of my maxpedition fr-1 bag.

thid morning I've used it's scissors for this, which I wanted to show you as it's an interesting idea. Which I've stolen from a laptop cord I have.

You start by cutting a piece of velcro ties like this

then you fix it to a cable of sort in this way

and use it to hold the cable

and when you use the cable you don't risk to lose the velcro tie.

And Iiii was trying and did take the tiny glass/plastic ball that's inside whiskey bottles sometimes... because I collect them

So I "pried" the ball a bit mostly in order to break the surrounding piece of plastic... and then used the pliers to break it fully and release the ball. lol.

One of the best parts of a vacation is when you return home, and for me one of the best parts of this challenge will be when it is completed. We are about halfway there. I miss my other toys, but that's part of the fun.
