From My trip to Indiana  show this weekend.   Important MT uses. 1. Serrated blade did a good job slicing homemede amish bread. 2.PE blade used to slice Amish ring/trail bologna and smoked chedder cheese.  Good stuff :D.

well  i do.

here they have similar events where are some stean engined vehicles, vintage cars with those sweet old sidevalve four bangers, engines with those heat radiating balls as ignition system, etc etc.i dont have any relly intresting vintage  machines though, just few anticue chainsaws and one 500cc flathead jap engine with magneto and downdraught carb.

i wouldnt mind seeing more pics from you;),can u add the smell too?

My grandfather used to cut lumber on a buzz rig just like this one. Between the 3-foot diameter saw blade and the big flapping flat belt drive, the whole thing looked pretty scary to me. :o :)

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

its so good to see your pics, since at last weekend i took this pic and heard the story, the sad end for the engine that once was installed in this frame.it was just ripped off and sold to some scrapyard to get melted away.

I would say its just a working scale model someone built.     Looked very accurate and ran the saw easily.

ok, this should be it :).   These pics are  of my stuff.  I had a graduation party to go to today so I didnt have much time to bring stuff home.  These are what I picked out to take this year.  I live about a half mile from the fairgrounds so I just drive the tractor there.
The one on the trailer is a 1957 Wheel Horse.  The one in front is a 1990 and newer than most of my stuff but its a fairly rare model.      Only 225 of them made.   the air compressor mounted on the front I picked up at a swapmeet last weekend.

Excuse my extreme ignorance Dennis the air compressor that would be left stationary & you would drive the tractor up to it & hook it up ? What sort of work would a  compressor like that do?
Nice pics Dennis  :tu: :tu:
BTW how do you sustain 2 hobbies  :pok: :pok:. I think the tractors might be even more expensive than Tools  :o :o :o :D :D :D

The compressor can be either hooked up or unhooked in less than a minute.  It raises with the tractors lift system and  then can go wherever the tractor goes.  Have not fully tested it yet but It would air up tires and run small air tools with no problem.  I also have a  3000 watt generator that hooks up the same way.
My tractor hobby pays for it self thanks to a little buying/selling etc.   I wish I could say the same for the tool hobby :(

I was thinking ground clearance would be a issue  :D :D :D :D. It would feel a bit front heavy whilst driving wouldn't  :D
So do you run it off the gear box, or is the tractor in neutral & drive is from the motor?

It lifts about 5-6 inches off the ground for transport. Its not all that heavy so does'nt bother the steering much.   Runs off the PTO on the motor.   Generally used while tractor is in neutral but will also work on the move.

Ahh I just saw the drive belt  ::) :D. That is a long belt :o :D  . I was looking at the lift shaft & thinking it was a prop shaft  :D. The belt system looks to be a good simple affair.
