Buck X-Tract?
on: August 10, 2015, 09:54:15 PM
Does anybody use one? I saw one online and it looks interesting. I went on Bucks website and I couldn't find it.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

It's discontinued. I have the Fin and Essential models, didn't get along with the combo blade in the standard version. There's also a fourth version with an LED light, but that's never come my way

I have one of each version. They are OK but tool to size ratio is not great. The thing that was most appealing to me was the big knife blade and OHO on all tools. The pliers work OK. I did like the screw drivers. Buck did discontinue the X-Tract and as they were imported I think the China manufacturer is still producing them under the Buck name, but not for Buck Knives. Not sure of the quality of these versions.
For the price they sell for now I think they would be Ok as spare or back up tools.
