The 3 year-old is coming along well.
on: August 12, 2015, 03:36:51 PM
Well, my daughter's 3-1/2 now. I must continue to feed the seedlings of fascination for MTs. Now, she's old enough that she will (mostly) heed my danger warnings for the sharp parts of the blades and scissors, and she can play with the other implements.

Here's when she was a tiny baby. Even then, she loved the feel of a SAK in the hand. (that's the nail file/screwdriver on an old Classic, in case she spastically stabbed herself with it)

The other day, I introduced her to one of my favorites, the Juice S2. Here's a short video clip.

(she's having a smoothie and nuts for her evening snack)

If you've got any pix or video clips of your kids with MTs, I'd love to see them.

It's only amazing after they grow and you see an old pic, right? I promised myself I would remember later that when she was an infant she was also a soul-sucker. Crying all the time with no indication of what's wrong, pooping in the bath tub, waking us every 2 hours...

The super-cuteness of infant humans is nature's defense mechanism.  :D

I like the way she handles the Juice...

My twins turn three next month. Ther was time, when they went straight to my pocket, and fight over whom gets to hold my Climber. Their treasure. They really grow up so fast. Everyday seems that they learn something new. Words and sentences you just have to wonder where they picked those up.

Great pics of the next generation of MT users  :tu:.  Mine are teens now with one soon to be 20  :ahhh.  My oldest has some tools with her for work, Spyderco Squeak, Victorinox Classic SD in pink, and a Thrunite Tis light.

My son is ultra minimalist so Gshock and wallet are all he carries.

My youngest still in high school she has a Victorinox Soldier with her year of birth and a Victorinox USB.

Update, she was so excited to get her leap, it went straight into her purse. Within ten minutes we got to use to fix her braid in her hair, not sure who was more excited.

Be prepared to have lots of stuff at home suddenly "breaking" on accident...

"Daddy, can I fix that with my Leap?..."
 :pok: :pok:

Those kinds know what is good. Soon they will be asking for a few tools of their own
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
