Hi everybody!

Been checking this site numerous times for advice and reviews.
You got some great stuff going on here.
Gotta admit I am amazed that there are so many of us toolnuts out there. 
Anyways, I carry the new Wave + Bit Kit on my left hip, a Vic Spartan in my left front pocket,
Vic Classic on the keychain and the Mini-Tool + Irwin long nose locking plier in the bag.
Oh yes, and a Sideclip for light home use.
What can I say, I simply love tools!

I got my first Vic (Elinox line knife similar to todays Vic Recruit) about 19 years ago and I've loved them ever since! They are beautiful and built to last.

Sound's like you've got Swiss in your blood not then , you just can't go wrong with them

So have you got a Farmer yet, as it's sort of an entry requirement of mine

Well you see the thing is that I really like the look and feel of the Farmer, but the fact that it lacks the corkscrew is the only reason I don't carry it. So I've taken a slightly different approach to the "problem", and some might find it sacrilegious, but I actually have removed the scales off of my Spartan because the have taken some serious beating in my pockets + they tend to get a bit loose in time. Having the Spartan "bare" suits me fine. I slightly filed down the edges that were a bit sharp and it came out perfect.

I think Sak's look kinda cool without there scales, especially if you polish up the brass and aluminium

The only trouble is the the Farmer/Soldier 93mm range are a lot more robust than the 91mm

Hey MD ya got Swiss blindness  Did you not see Cres has a Wave & Sideclip . Me thinks Micky's Swiss sickness means he can not see Leatherman's  . Mate see a Doc quick if you leave it any longer you won't be able to see SOG's & then maybe Gerber's will disappear.    . BTW Cres welcome to the forum ,it is a great place

Yes they look nice without the scales. In fact I have the Classic that way too.
At home I keep 2 Climbers, 1 Cowboy, 1 Camper and 1 Soldier, but so far I have gently caressed them instead of "abusing" them

I actually prefere it to the Charge , I do think it's a good model, and it has a really good tool load

Shame it hasn't got an Awl though

Yeah LM definetly missed a trick there, but in fairness, most of the other MT manufactures have dropped a lot of senseble features from there tool's too
