That time of year
on: August 31, 2015, 12:54:33 AM
So today was move in day, just finished setting up my dorm for the most part. Most kids are pumped to be back in college, me? Not so much.

Less fishing, less biking, less golf, less time in the woods or the boat, and so much more stress. I will say, one of the better things coming as a result of this is the fact that I'm around my computer more. In turn meaning I'll be back to being rather active around here. I missed you guys, I've been carrying my gear more consistently than ever, and using it hard.

It's good to be back

Thanks guys!

A bike came with me, but here it becomes more for just transportation instead of fun. Going to have to try to see if I can sneak out to the trails at least a few times more before the seasons over.

I thought the idea of golf was to NOT go in the woods?  :P

Mountain biking season at least, I still ride to get around in the snow. But a lot less fun when you cant feel any of your appendages. I really need a new set of tires on her too before the weather takes a turn.

But Def, I think you've been golfing all wrong. Anyone can hit a ball straight, it takes skill to curve it 50 yards into the woods :D

For us it comes in the measure of feet, and that tends to get a bit hard to pedal through unfortunately. I just love riding, looking at a vintage roadie on craigslist right now that I'm saying is to flip. But I know I'll ride it first, and I don't even like road riding!!!

I've never ridden any bike other than a road bike.I've spent 35 years riding roads to achieve cardiovascular fitness.

I have friends that ride mountain bikes but they have to drive their automobiles, carrying their bikes,to locations that will allow them to use their bikes.LOL.

I don't ride the roads when rain or the snow make it impractical or too dangerous.
