I'm just wondering who has and doesn't have this year's hottest tool offering.

For many people, I think the Skeletool is either a perfect hit or a complete miss.

I really like the concept, but for the moment, I don't plan on getting one as there are many other tools I would prefer to carry.

I could easily see myself wanting one or something similar as some point in the future though.

A Skeletool might be an interesting choice as a compliment to a SAK though. You get large pliers, a radically different blade and some drivers...

I have one (aluminum) and I love it. It has been my EDC for a few months now. I was carrying a Crunch mostly before I got the Skeletool. Sometimes a Surge or Wave (original).

The Skeletool has just the tools I use the most and they all work well. I carry a Kershaw Twocan, a small pry bar, and uncle Bill's sliver gripper on a keychain in my pocket along with a small file in my wallet. I'm covered for 90% of the things that come up. I probably use my Sleletool 8-10 times a day and it hasn't let me down. I don't take it easy on it either.

I hang the Leatherman by it's caribiner from a belt loop and when I need the pliers or screwdriver, I pull it half open before removing it from the belt loop. I found it hard to open one handed until I figured this out.

The CX is certainly the looker, but I'm partial to the plain edge blade :-\

I don't have one yet on account of being too cheap to buy one. I'm going to wait awhile for the crusty used ones to hit eBay/sales forums before I get one.

I don't have one, but woulden't mind getting one if the price was right or I traded for one.  If I didn't like it I'd be able to unload it here pretty fast anyways. :D

Have one CX, then bought another on sale, use one myself wanted to give the other as a birthday present. But friend's car got broke into and lost the flik I gave him, so now I'm trying to decide what to do with it since it's not heavy duty enough (or have enough tools) to live in glovebox. Maybe I'll get him a powerplier or something.

I just discovered that the Skeletool is actually larger than many Juice models, yet it weighs about the same. I don't have one to check, but I think the Skeletool is about as long and heavy as a Kick.

I always thought it was a little smaller and lighter for some reason...

Dave--I just started carrying it with the carabiner when I am in active house chore mode.  That is a fantastic idea for opening it!

Perfect statement mate, couldn't have said it better myself.

I have a CX which I've been carrying since they came out.  It's been hard to carry anything else since it fits my uses so well.  Don't know if I'll wind up pulling a SS out of inventory or not.

Wheres the

'I have one but its not mine ' option  :D

I like the std version for its design and build quality but its not a very good multitool . A must for LM Collectors .I dont thin they will sell them for long .

I don't have one yet, but I'll get around to it sometime. :) I like the design, but it's not going to be my ultimate tool or anything, though will definetely add some variety to the toolbox... I'll probalby get the CX, though I'd be even more sold on it if they came out with a plain edge version.

I'd like to be the first to argue that the Skeletool is a good multitool. It's a little short on the "Multi". But what it does, it does well.
