I am looking forward to purchasing a set of these wrenches once I get some money together for it.

Question: have you developed a version of these wrenches that will work on the new Rebar?

The Rebar uses this same kind of star-head fastener, but it also has the fastener-heads recessed in shallow wells.  Or to put that differently, the sheet-metal of the handles is raised in a cup around the heads.

Given this recess, I do not see how the wrench will be able to grasp the head.  But maybe there is already an answer to this problem?

Any thoughts welcome--either ways to use the current tool in order to remove the Rebar bolts, or plans for a new and modified tool to accommodate them?

That is good news!  I just pm'ed him with a request for purchase.

Over the decades, I have disassembled many Leathermen, and I have *always* scarred up the bolts.As a generally careful craftsman, that is always painful to me. But I have tried lots of things, but never found the right tool for the right job. 

So it will be great to finally have it!

To add, the wrenches are very precise and there are no slack when turning... used it on a rebar and Charge AL... might use it on a Micro to disassemble for cleaning...

Do you know if the pins from the pliers side are the same diameter than the tools side????

I mean:

Could it be done this type of knife mod with other models without drilling diameters of hole in tools (with a Wave, Rebar, Supertool 200 and so???)

Which mod on that page? Wingman and Sidekick use same sized posts, most other MTs use a larger post for the pliers.

Merit Badges Must post a step by step pictorial of a knife or MT Mod, done by you that includes changing the main chassis of the tool in a significant way. By machining, welding or cutting original design to accept new tool loads. Requests will be reviewed.

Erm.. I am very sorry. Could someone please remind me again whats the difference between the lite wrench and the full LM wrench?..

Lite wrench has only two opening for PST size and Supertool size. The Full has four including Micra and Minitool.
