The Holy Grail !
on: September 04, 2015, 08:18:52 PM
Well,at least one model of Alox that's considered the holy grail.

I started collecting Alox last December and by good fortune I've been able to buy many of the current models in numerous colors.I've also been very leery about purchasing older models because of my lack of knowledge as to their true value.I've tried to remain observant and glean information as older models were bought and sold on the internet.I finally decided to buy this old cross Alox Pioneer. The pictures and description provided indicated this particular knife was NIB.

It arrived today and the seller was truthful in his description of both the knife and the box.

Congrats!  I still have yet to pull the trigger on my first OC Pioneer, but it's definitely on the list.  Nice find getting one NIB :tu:

I can't help but wonder what my collection would look like,if I had started collecting Alox in 1971.That was the year that I bought my first new knife with my lawn mowing money,a Puma Game Warden.LOL.
