I live in a rather unpopulated area, and I've come to learn it's very hard to meet new people as an adult. There's no forced forum for it, like school. There's work, but that's often with few people, so even if it's allowed, chances of finding someone are slim. It started to bother me, but I let go of it, hoping that in a few years I'll move somewhere I can meet people.

Lol, you just described my exact situation.  I live in a rural, low population area, and met my wife at work :whistle:  I do agree though in that it is limited when it comes to meeting new people in a situation like that.  I just got lucky I guess ;)  I will say though, that she was more the pursuer.  I wasn't all that interested as I was enjoying my bachelorhood, but I figured I'd give it a chance and I'm glad I did :)

Hey you're still young though, so don't worry about it.  There's no reason to rush these things...just enjoy the freedom of the single life man :tu:  While marriage is great, I still miss that stage in my life :whistle:

I live in a very large city and even then it can be difficult to meet people, as I'm told by friends who are looking.  I know a few people who have met their significant others online and it has worked out. 

I have a client that was married young ( early 20's ) it lasted 10 years and produced 2 kids.  She was single throughout the next 3 decades dating but never seriously.  She met her 2nd husband when she was 60ish and he in mid sixties.  They met thru a mutual friend and hit it off right away as she says.  He passed away in his mid 80's and she tells me it was the love of her life.  They had 20 years together in what she calls the most important part of their lives.  She's still pretty healthy and tells me it can happen at any time ( meeting the right person ) so be prepared. 

I'm not looking myself but for those of you who are I thought this story would be neat.

Yeah, a nice story  :tu:

I'm sometimes "bothered" as some people put it, then I'm thinking that God knows what to do and at the whole current stage of my life too many people depend on me, so I wouldn't be able to really devote myself to a relationship (because I usually give everything and anything I can to it, lol), so it wouldn't work out that well.
