SAKnight's "thinning the collection" sale
on: September 12, 2015, 11:13:18 AM
Welp, it happens that time to time, parts of the collection become stagnant. As much as I love just having all the tools and such that I do, if I find I don't even take them out, I ought to move them rather than add to my already-too-many worldly possessions. So, without further delay:

All prices include CONUS shipping. Therefore, subtract $5 from each additional item in group purchases, international will be at cost  :tu: Prices are flexible, let me know if I'm way off on anything. Sale strongly preferred, but hey, worst I can say to a trade offer is no :D

First up, early gen Gerber MPT. Used, only implement with noticeable use is the blade, which is a bit worse for wear. Best as a user, or to have because it's neat. That's why I've had it. Simonds file is very good. $30 $25

Bucktool 360. Like new, appears unused except the plain edge, which shows signs of use. Great shape, and one of the better sheaths I've seen. $40 $30

Leatherman New Wave. Very good condition, most tools unused, no signs of damage, well broken in though. Mild scratching on plier head. Has new style lm leather box sheath $55 $50 - SPF

Leatherman Freestyle. Bought new, used a little, into the collection box. Pretty much like new, great plier head (loosened up but still the slightest contact when cutters pass, very smooth). $25 $21 - SPF

Gerber Multiplier, aka Mr. Pinchy. Screw plier pivot (2nd Gen?), awl is broken off, blade needs work, pics should show. $25 $21

Leatherman Super Tool. Updated plier head, seems used not abused- however. One handles locking tab is bent slightly up, so the tools do not lock. Easy fix, I just don't want to risk chewing up the screws trying it. $35 $30

Swisschamp. This one is very well loved, though before I got it. My first swisschamp, I realize I've hung onto it much for the same reason one may keep an XAVT. "wow, look at all the layers!" :D corkscrew is missing, pen scale is loose, liners dented, main blade stained. Lifetime warranty, so I assume that's why they maintain *some* value when like this, and really, I carried it for a while when I got it, it works fine. Great snap etc. Anyway. $40? - SPF

Leatherman Kick, lightly nodded. Now it has an eyeglass driver :) Yep, it's a kick. $25 - SOLD

I'll add more at some point, I'm just exhausted.

Thanks for looking

It seems I forgot to list the Carolina Gerber pinchy...

Well, here's a couple more.

Carolina rebranded Chinese original Mr. Pinchy. Seems unused, has nylon sheath. $20 $16

Spirit X- no pics, I imagine we know what they look like ;) used, wear marks on awl and Phillips. Light scuffing on handles. A user, but not abused. $55

Gerber Fit. Lightly used, 1/4" bit long lost. $15

Vic tinker, Vic Spartan. Used, Spartan is an ad knife, tinker is reprofiled to a blunt tip. $5 each+shipping at cost (envelope)

Mod fodder: Mp600, pics tell the story. Comes with leather sheath, the other pivot with tools is included and has no screw. $5+shipping - SPF

Mod fodder: LM PST, pics tell the story. This has held my spare parts. Two broken blades, two medium flatheads, one large and one fine flathead, file and awl. Handles and plier head are pre date code, plier cutters grab though seem undamaged. Has worn sheath $5+shipping

And lastly for now,

BM mini-grip. Very good condition, only real noticeable wear is a couple chips on the pocket clip. Very sharp standard 154cm blade. Really like it, especially the axis lock, it just doesn't see carry time. $65 shipped CONUS - SOLD

Welp. Getting sued for $5000 by a gas station for a spill back in April. (got in my car to text boss, look back, "hey that's more gallons than it should've taken?" 14 gallons pump on the ground. Sweet. So everything I don't want to go, goes. I'll be listing it as I can.

Start of listing (pics will be up at some point, I'm now very busy and I'll do my best)

Spyderco para2 black/camo, lnib, used on small things, factory edge no nicks or rolls, very sharp. $100 shipped conus

Vic first mate, apocalypse green, lnib, not carried or used, scratch on scale where marlin spike meets it, $85 shipped conus

LM OHT, coyote, very lightly used, almost no signs of use. $60 shipped conus

Becker bk15, paint stripped, mild mustard patina (looks kinda gold, but mostly looks like steel, wasn't very altered) $40 + shipping

Becker bk24, mustard striping, convexed (90%, near the ricasso could use a little more) $45 + shipping

Bk4, stripped, sheath modded (cut off bottom 1.5", the round part just below stitching, and melted it smoooth) stripped, mild patina, $45 + shipping

Bk5, stripped, vinegar patina with mustard stripes, paracord D-guard, $45 + shipping

Mora 612, patina'd, handle sanded, rounded, and stained. Almost unused. $10 + shipping

That's all for now I guess :-\

WTF?! Can't you sue them back, for not having a security feature to prevent that?! Here, the gas pistols simply shut off when the gas tank is full...

The pump came out of my car.. Not sure how, but it did. Apparently they aren't equipped to handle a spill, so had to renovate their building...

Why is that? Did their building melt or did someone throw a lit match?

Sorry to hear this story, good luck!

New info has fortunately come to light (mostly that selling everything changes little, but also that even if they're successful, I don't have to pay them money I don't have.)

All of the most recent post withdrawn  (sorry!)
