Hopefully it will dry out for you soon. It's been miserable here for the last few days as well.

Did this

And it only cut me once!

Looking good though mate. :tu:

I've not done it in a while but a good few years ago Neil gave me the top tip that the Vic fish scaler makes an excellent pumpkin cutter.

I'm off for a morning in the woods. Given my track record with Spartan Saturday I have made a special effort and obtained something nice and shiny in black. That said I'll be taking my Grizzly Bear along for most of the morning though I'm hoping for more pheasants than grizzlies (pretty confident about the absence of grizzlies, less confident about the former!). The new shiny can help with breakfast arrangements.

Well done FB :salute:

That Grizzly looks interesting too!

The Grizzly was a present from a shooting friend. A no-nonsense tool for a days rough shooting in a very overgrown wood. As he cooks us all a bacon & egg roll to start the morning it gets a surprising range of tasks to do :mn:

Well, it is a souvenir SAK from a "Schwingerfest" in the city of Alpnach for the next generation / young / budding athletes.

Schwingen is a form of Wrestling unique to Switzerland.

It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

Great combo Kirky!!!!!!

Thanks Robert!

That Picknicker seen some hard use,and not a lot of love. It's well known that I'm not a fan of the 111 family, and it started here. Oddly enough,it's not there was anything wrong with it,it just wasn't the 91mm I know and love.

In its service life, the tip of the blade got chipped(not me,one of the muppets that worked for me in Watford) and somewhere along the line, and I really don't know where, the liner on the opener side got bent

I've tried trading it off a few times too. I realised a while back that it deserves an honoured place in my permanent collection, so it got properly resharpend, cleaned and lubed

I bought these three Saturday for under $10 delivered. One goes in my collection the other two get put up for when the next two Grandchildren are old enough.

As SAK collectors we should remember that without the Officers knife we may all have to carry Letterman's.

Phew ! I took my Jelly red Spartan to a friends for a fireworks party. Only rule was bring one firework, big as you like, and our local discount european delicatessen didn't disappoint with a Showstopper. Three going off at one time was a lot of fun ...
