Weekender as I understand was the serrated blade version and only was a short time, maybe only a USA  item?  (Unclear/confused) Then the SE blade was new package sold as a SPARTAN.

We could include the Climber, it is a Spartan with extra layer that just so happens includes a “scissors “!

And, then the new Red COMPANION, might fit into the mix?

Corkscrew is required,
AWL is required,
SPEAR POINT main blade is required!

Good idea Barry and overdue.

For my money a Spartan (and Tinker to be controversial) two layer challenge would be interesting and a good reminder that all these extra layers are just complications to the idea:
"Keep It Simple - Spartan!"

I think allowing for 84 and 85mm variants could still meet @LoopCutters terms too.

But ... the Climber really does get overlooked too and most people will have one and overlook it in the rush to get an extra tool. A challenge round them would make a change  :cheers:

We could do any combination of the above. The badges would be the tricky part of combining the Climber with the Spartan.  For that matter, we could even have a Climber Challenge.  I'm open to any ideas.  Thanks Gordon and Phil!  :hatsoff:

SPARTAN Saturday

A Translucent RED arrived this week, my Tech has been handy and I retrieved a SE SPARTAN from my office.

I was tempted by GARY’s beautiful picture of his two RUBY REDS, to search for my own.  ☺️

A Blue CLIMBER also arrived. 🙄

The SPARTAN as a 2 layer carries very well and provides great function for my simple life style.
