:like: do you miss the scale tw & tp?

Yes Tony. I am a solid T&T chap. Took me years to accept I could carry a Classic and cover that base. So now I usually pair this with an orange Classic.

Mind you for years I was disinterested in Alox and the same problem troubled me there. I wanted to carry T&T but didn't want a clutter of SAKs in my pocket. At some point (possibly as I got more Classics  ) that opinion changed.

The walnut scales have a character from the grain and a warmth that makes it worth it.

Well stated!

A CLASSIC or any 58mm Celidor model can satisfy
the T & T need.  Also, scissors and NAIL file if that is a need.

The Wood SPARTAN, a PIONEER AND the CADET for me are better with a 58mm riding in the other pocket.  Or if I choose a traditional knife.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Good pair for a hike.
Wow!   What do you expect to encounter, and utilize the large recurve fix blade?

I have a HUNTER PRO and PRO ALOX, but normally do not take on hikes for relaxation.

The PRO is light enough for through hikes in heavy terrain with camp duties.

A FIX BLADE, BUCK 104 or ESEE JG5, when doing trail work at local wetlands.

Some pretty scary chipmunks over here, LC — hence the enormous fixed blade.

LOL

In Michigan where I grew up, we had GOPHERS!

Here in INDIANA they call the smaller version CHIMPMUNKS!  And, they do not sing or swim😉

Out west I thought they called them PRAIRIE DOGS?

My son when in college had a pet Praire Dog, long nails, but seemed dumb.  Eventually a FERRET, smart fella he was.

But the BOA, was the stealthy sucker. Wif finally said no, when he started feeding it life rats, and he could push back is heavy screen lid, even with 2 cement blocks holding it down.  She got curious when their bedroom door was always closed.     They disclosed it was easier to locate…   It was about 9 feet long at that point.   The zoo took it!

SPARTAN SUNDAY, first full day of spring!

The SPARTAN SE, (aka WEEKENDER), finish cutting down cardboard when the CADET blade quit cutting.

I used to see ground squirrels (chipmunks) all the time here. Then came the coyotes. I see one of the cute striped back rascals now and then. Rarely. How about the same Eco Spartan again?

Ah, I love that one — the scales, the lanyard, everything. What a great knife that is. Is that the GITD-scaled one? Here's my serrated Spartan that I (badly) added plus scales to.

Editing this to add that I love the Mango Tango dedicated T&T tool, Fast Bill!

To is perfect that anyone can tailor there gadgets to best suit one’s needs.

I doubt Victorinox did the design, maybe a contest they sponsored for area children or artist community with a prize reward.

Definitely an artist’s interpretation of falling snow. Lovely regardless❄️
