One of the local stores used to have a big display of Western knives when I was growing up, so I have several Western knives that I bought from them, including the W49 Bowie knife, which I used for camping. It was great to use as a draw knife to shave the bark off of poles for making a teepee. We made a teepee big enough for 6 people to sleep in. I was really fond of Western knives. Also have a Westlock folder (2nd down). Unfortunately Boulder-made Westerns in decent shape are now rather pricey.

My son Eagled this spring and had managed to collect these from his Cub Scouting days to crossing over through to Eagle: (Image removed from quote.)

My old Cub and Scout knives. Camilius New York on the tangs. Lots of use out of the Cub Scout knife. I went thru a lot of SAK Tinker models. Used an orange Bucklite my senior years in scouts. Cub Scout, Webelos, Eagle Scout 1993 Troop 201 East Texas Area Council ( thanks mom and dad , I know scouting wasn't cheap )
