The true spirit of Xmas (Run yourself into huge debt or people will think you don't love your family )It's no wonder that the festive season leads to an increase in the number of domestic violence incidents ,divorces ,bitter fueds that generally ruin relationships for good
Tis the season to be jolly  ::)

The season of giving gifts that noone wants...
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

We used to dash around and visit all the nearby relatives on Christmas day, passing out gifts and well wishes. What a chaotic time it was. The whole family got exhausted and cranky. :ahhh

Now the wife and I just stay home with our girls and relax and enjoy the holiday. If someone stops by for a visit, that's fine, but they better not expect me to get up out of my easy chair. :D

Thankfully, I hate shops anyway, so Christmas doesn't add to my MallRage, it merely justifies it  :D

One of the best x-mass I have had was when I packed up my gear and was in the woods alone, just lying there, watching the northern lights playing in the sky and the only sound you could hear was the camp fire.
There is no problem that cannot be solved by the use of high explosives.
