Glad it arrived!
Was the bezel damaged in transit or why do you need a spare?!  :ahhh
You can get them at watches.br on Facebook - They used to sell on eBay but eBay drove them out. They offer aftermarket bezels for many discontinued models in about 90% of casios quality.

The Bezel is cracked on 4 sides, above each screw.
I assumed it was like that.
The box it came in was fine. Maybe the temperature changes or the pressure  changes affected it..

You do not notice it from the top, but it is obvious from the side.
Here are some pictures of both sides.

That was not the case when I shipped the watch. Seems like teh resin had reached the end of it´s lifespan and was well in it´s box but could not stand been shaken around in travel.
As this is not what I promised to deliver, I do offer to at least share the costs for a spare bezel. sorry for teh inconvenience.
Please do order a spare (if you cannot find the seller, I´ll rummage through my old emails) and let me knpow the cost!

It just looks like the whole inside expanded, causing the cracks on the 4 ends   ???

I am looking at the facebook site now

https://www.facebook.com/watchesbr-1412801452326384/?fref=ts

I assume that you just post there and they contact you?

Lowtech, that's a nice gesture, I know the bezel was alright I saw pics of the watch on the past!

That's a perfect fit mate, and original!

But I think on watchesbr you can get it way cheaper!

The problem with watches.br is that it seems like I need to leave my email address on their, open, facebook page

wait, they have a hotmail email too - I will try that.

Give it a shoot :)
And also you already have a strap, no need for the eBay combo!

I have emailed them, though I suspect that with shipping the ebay one may actually be cheaper, in the end

I was about to post the same link.
Keep in mind that the NOS bezel will be some 20 odd years old - You cannot besure if it was always stored dark and cool and it may deteriorate fast oncwe in service. It is original Casio, though. The watches.br stuff is quite good - I think Zed has a DW5600C from me with a bezel and strap from them - It´s been in service fro some time, so maybe he can give some feedback?!

OK, so I got a reply from them.

$35 including shipping for the Bezel and Strap.

The eBay one will be about $50
eBay:

I am attaching the Brazilian one.
However, the light writing seems to be in the wrong place, top right instead of top left, for both sellers.

Is this the best I can get?

which one would be a better choice

Actually the light writing is at the correct place.

I guess the DW-5600CL confused you - it has teh Light button in the lower right, differing from most other G-Shocks.

Many thanks, but I did not expect any money back.
I will now have to spend them on more watches for you.

I assume that the best buy for me will be the Brazilian Bezel, as the original one may have aged, right?

But you did expect an intact watch - as that was what I did advertise. so it´s only right when I pay the part to make one out of teh damaged watch you did receive.

Yes. The original resin may be completely fine, but as the resin is some 20odd years old, it might have aged an start crumbling shortly. The Brazilian stuff is not completely up to par with Casio stock parts, but mighty well for a wearer and  worlds better than the crumbling bezel you have received.

I already bought one set of this from spain, and it was in marvelous condition mate, i was in fact able to fit the bezel without removing the screws, because they are famous to brake due to age! it´s also a good buy those one from Spain!

And DKS be careful removing the screws from the Dw-5700, do it gently, if you find them to tight, with a good pack of vaseline the bezel will stretch and slide over the screws!

P.S. I´m proud to be part of this community, Lowtech that was a proper gesture from your part  :salute: mate.

The bezel screws should be fine on the watch - I checked that. Be careful, though.
And if Ricardofms has firsthand experience, don´t shy away from the spanish seller.
