Don't know why the pics came out horizontal or so small. Hate posting from an Iphone!!! Miss my old Windows phone. It's not all used up...yet, but it's recycled parts and scales from previous beaters. Call it my Yardsman. It's my yard work knife. Want to add a serrated blade to it for some reason.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)These pics are definitely doing the tool a disservice.
http://s12.postimg.org/ionworjvh/image.jpgIt's essentially a Hiker with plus scales and pocket clip. But like I said I want to add a serrated blade to make it slightly more unique.
I bought this Fisherman about a month ago. I bought a Super Tinker to replace the broken screwdriver, scissors, and both blades. I plan to make this poor beater into a user. I have still used the can opener to pop off a few scales, and turn a few screws with the opener drivers. A relative who knows how to repair knives will help me fix it. If we can't, I'm shipping it off to Switzerland to be repaired.
Right now, I'm leaving the Fisherman as-is. I still use the functioning tools occasionally. The original owner's name, apparently, someone by the name of Pounds, is still scratched into the back scale. This knife could have been carried by that individual for a lifetime. For that reason, it won't be disassembled. I see a couple that are slightly newer ('70s) for around $20 on Ebay, which I will buy later on.

Ouch - yes that was painful (...... and the Wenger above)That lovely old SAK - old awl, extrernal rivets, patented CO ....... all beaten up But great to see them so well used - After all that is what they are for.Was 'Dad' the only owner? And is he still using it?This knife comes from the fifties I'd say (new CO > '51, old awl and rivets <'61)If so .... 60+ years of use - Wow
