DOWNRANGE TOMAHAWK and FAIRBAIRN KNIFE (gift form Lobsterboy :salute:)

Is it bad that I rather like that 'hawk?
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

So, please help an older soul here, but WTF does one use a $180USD "downrange hawk" like that for?  Is it time for some Zombie smurf or what?

Decoration...

There is a good reason why I up till yesterday didn't own a hawk / axe / hatchet, because I don't need one. But it's gorgeous and I always liked the design...

According to the ads, it's main purpose is an entry tool into "bad guy" hideouts?

Personally I'd use HE  8)

but hey, whatever floats your boat.

I'm sure it has a market somewhere, but I reckon I could break it trying to get entry in my office, much less super villain bunkers.

I love explosives. Of all those I cooked up nitrogen-triiodide is my favorite, I mean you get purple smoke, what more could you ask for :D

However, explosives do not age well and they are dangerous to make (especially in larger quantities)
The Downrange Tomahawk however will look pristine on my wall, even 30 years from now ;)

Mall ninja?
Hm... Probably not. I have a Maxpedition bag I use for EDC, but there's nothing "tacticool" in it really;

(Image removed from quote.)

The only camo clothing I currently own is a small collection of boonie hats, which I just use to keep sun and rain off my head and not so much to perform covert deanimation operations

Oh, but I do use a shemagh as a scarf  :tu:

Is that a maglite pouch attached to your bag? If so I can't believe I did not know about those and I NEED ONE!

It's a Maxpedition Cocoon Pouch. Perfect length for a Mini Maglite, but because of the width it bounces around in there if you put it in alone.

http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/Cocoon-Pouch-p175.htm

And unlike a lot of their products, it's not ungodly expensive  :salute:

Ah ok. It looked bigger in the picture (heard that before).

Is there any way it would fit a 3 D cell Maglite?

I'm afraid not. Unless they're making  a much shorter one now-

No problem.
It's the Maxped Lunada; if you see it in a pic without a good size reference, you can't tell if it's a full size backpack or what. But it's a 390 cubic inch sling bag.

It looks great, but your vision will be so limited... Might be OK for dirt-biking but I think a solider has to be aware of his surroundings and not just what is straight in front of him.

Also, how do you use that night-vision thingy??? with a blacked out visor??? True mall-ninja gear here :tu:

A tactical drill! :D

The Irony is that it is probably used more by special forces than all the other tactical gear that claim that they are beeing used by them.

I´m not too much into tacticool stuff, but I had those differently coloured Sanrenmus and made a blacked out Mall Ninja workhorse blade Folder that I think is at least good for a Bump.  ;)

Added some Kydex to the Mix...
