Can't do it.  I bought one myself about 2 weeks ago.  I got the last one at the new Cabela's in my area.  Saved about enough to negate the taxes, so it wasn't significant, but it did ensure I got one that wasn't pristine and NIB.  (If I'd gotten one NIB, I'd probably leave it NIB)

The SC feels like a handful, but I'm not finding it to be uncomfortable in my pocket at all.  Probably the opposite of what you wanted to hear.....

This is what got me into this mess. Been carrying my CT with added mag layer in my pocket the last few days and it rides in my front pocket easy as pie.

A Cybertool 41 would complement the Swisschamp in your other front pocket.
And you wouldn't walk lopsided !
And at night when they both repose on the nightstand they have SO much in common they'll chat all night.
So get both !

Easy:

- Has a fish scaler (I like it, most people don't)

- Albeit with a half stop, the Philips SD can't reach into tight spots due to overall girth

- Limited knife and prying tool utility due to said girth and position of the implements right next to the handles

- I don't like the magnifying lens much. It can be useful, though.

- I believe in tool combos rather than in one-tool-to-rule-them-all. (Get a Spirit for that and still...)

- For all these reasons above I totally recommend getting a Vic Handyman  >:D

Time-lapse time; :D

CT41 beats Swisschamp. If you need a mag glass, put a fresnel lens in your wallet, or get a True Utility Eyeglass

Before you spend out your hard earned on a Swisschamp try out the experience first by sellotaping your CT41 to an Explorer!

Harley, if you buy a Swisschamp, I will  :twak: you over the head and take it from you (YES, even with all your military training).

This is your final warning: DO NOT BUY A SWISS CHAMP!!  :pok:  >:D

Amazon currently has the Champion Plus marked down to $31, and the price keeps on falling!   It was $32 yesterday.   Since it's around half the cost of the average cost of a SwissChamp, and the price close to some used Champions I have on my watch list, I highly suggest getting it at that price.  The only difference is that micro pair of pliers.  I recommend using the savings to buy a well made pair of small slip-joint pliers and/or lineman's pliers, which can comfortably get the job done.

I'm getting one myself, but I'm holding out to see if the price drops any more.

DO NOT BUY A SWISSCHAMP! You are not manly and cool enough to own a Swisschamp. Only truly amazing people can own them....

Well... It's amazing value for money and I prefer it over the CT41, even though I find the latter strictly more useful, so of course I agree with all of the MT.o enabling going on here. :)

That said, do you really need the money for something else? Will the knife just become something collecting dust in a drawer?

The XLT is a real brick...
I love mine so much  :D :D :D (I really EDC'ed it for a couple of
months) but if I were allowed to keep only one SAK it would be
my trusty Bubinga scaled SwissChamp.
So if mentioned, when you have the money the SC it's worth
every single Cent.
