Typing lag with Java enabled?

Trying to track an issue, is anyone else experiencing lag on the forum when using reply with Java enabled?

Also would some of you try disabling java and seeing if the site runs differently?
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

I find typing lag occurs intermittantly, sometimes very badly, but I'm using my phone the vast majority of the time, and haven't found any java settings
