My Voldemort and two Harry Potter minifigs came in today.  First thing, my son saw them and wanted them.  I guess I have to duplicate every one I buy now...

There had to be ONE thing in Australia that doesn't actively try to kill you.....

He He He,

They are VERY territorial and will defend it to the teeth with some serious growling much like the second pic.

As for the killing, hitting one on the motorbike a while back was a hairy moment. Thankfully the GS "glided" over it without much trouble. GS 1 possum 0.

I just picked up my first set (for me) in years.  It's the simple Iron Man vs Ultron set for $12 at Wally world. I actually felt a little guilty buying it, don't know why.  I built the little ship that comprises the set and decided so give it to my son along with one of the sentry minifigs.  I kept Iron Man, the Ultron Sentry Officer, and one sentry minifig for my collection.  I think that's a fair trade eh?  It will work fine until my son sees the Iron Man minifig, he's gonna want that one.

While I was there I shopped a ton of star wars sets, there are so many cool ones I may actually pick one up.  I'm kind of more into the Minifigs at this point, but I think a TIE fighter would be pretty awesome...

My daughter dropped the less than subtle request for the Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar this afternoon.  After all, she said, in our house it's "a Christmas tradition". :D

While I was at Walmart I priced the Lego Disney Princess Frozen Ice Castle for my daughter's Christmas.  She's not quite four but since she plays with my son's lego sets I figure she can handle her own.  Good thing is it's only $40, every set my son and I want is over $100!

This bug officially bit.  I just bought all three versions of Ultron on Ebay.  My wife is shaking her head at me.  I'm about to start placing some things up for sale lol.

We have been buying these for at least two years. There are some cool things in these. My daughter loves the food bits and the figurines, they all get used in her little Lego city.

Cheers,

Pete

Given that I found out she'd said the same thing to my wife, I think I'm in the clear. :D  With that in mind my wife and I did as we were asked and bought one.

I just snagged 4 of the 6 Avengers Age of Ultron sets of ebay for a total of $73.  That's about half price.  I'm currently saving my pennies to get the other two, which will total about $130.  After I sell off the duplicate minifigs I will be invested about $70 in those two sets.  I just want one of each unique minifig for that series, then I'm moving on to other Superhero series.

I also just started a build in Lego digital designer, after I finish it I will cost it and see how much that's gonna run me.   This is getting real fun!

This early on I'm trying to find a darn good price for a Force Awakens Millennium Falcon.....heck, or its retired kin for that matter.  I'm sure its price is going to go through the roof (or the USD200 mark) after the movie is shown.

I'm toying with the idea of getting one of those myself.

That's awesome!!

I took a family photo of all my minifigs the other day.  It's a tiny collection, but it's a start.  Once I get a certain package in the mail next week the number should double or more.

Is Jango Fett a robot then ?? I thought he was a person - Definitely not up to scratch on these characters
His minifig is like a person not a robot!

no, but I do agree the "buildable figures" line does look a lot more like the Battlestar Galactica reboot Cylon Centurions with a different head...

There's also little difference in the rest of the series aside from colouring and head pieces by the looks of it.
