No pics at the moment(my phone is gone) but all of my SOGs. Seems to be a well disliked brand and have had a few peeps call my tools junk, publicly or though PMs.
I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like harassment.  But I am glad you continue to post in the sog threads proudly. :salute: which models do you like? Also what are your thoughts on the paratool?
Love the Paratool. Scattergun13(Stew) hooked me up with one and i love. Small, light weight and is about the size of a PST when open and about the size of a SAK when closed. Great pliers, tools are good and just plain cool.
models i like, the Paratool as i stated above, Tthe Powerlock and hands down IMO the best folder ever made, the SOG Vulcan. Chris Reeves quality type folder. Very smooth, bank vault lock up and holds and edge like crazy.
Harassment, kinda and doesn't happen all the time. Some of the people have managed to get themselves banned and others are still here. And its not just been my tools that got bashed. I have been treated badly a few times, but no big deal. Sadly, as much as i hate to say it, here lately, I have been grasping at straws to stay here. Hopefully things will go back to normal. So much hate and disrespect lately.

Don't go Nate - We love you!

Things have been difficult here, I agree, I went away for a little while, but really missed the good people here, yourself very much included. Hopefully the DB's will leave and the good ones will stay.  :salute:

A couple that are special to me from a multitool historical perspective. The Coleman Pro-Lock and the Multimaster and its variations like the Klien Tripsaver.
+1
Both innovative tools.  The Klein has been copied numerous times.  I have a Husky version.

It may sound funny, but when I first get a tool I can keep it or give it away on the spot and I wouldn't miss it, but once I use the tool I start to have an emotional attachment to the tool and it becomes my tool.  Once I consider it my tool I can't get rid of it.  My first multi tool was a Gerber MP that I got around 1994ish.  It bit me badly, as they do, but like a naughty puppy I loved it anyway.  Still here, and I still take it out and use it on occasion.  I love the bit kit in the compartment that unsnaps from the back of the pouch.
 :multi:

I feel similarly about all my acquisitions except for Gerber products.  I have several, but just can't seem to find one I personally like. I have nothing against them, just haven 't found one I like well enough to use regularly.

I am staying guys and I want to you for your concerns guys. There are to many good members and friends here to leave be hide. But it has been hard to log in at times. I have only ever had a few times that i was mistreated and they were far and few between. No worries there. All good.
I never had a problem if somebody does not like SOG or LM or whatever brand or tool because of this reason or that reason. We all have different likes and I am down with that. But lately some members had direct personal comments made towards them for owning or liking a certain tool and that is just not cool. We have lost some good members here and I hate see us lose more of them.

Demel, sorry if i have ruined your thread. It was not my intent. Hopefully, this tread will go back on track.

Got it in and the verdict: probably not going to keep it. It's like an oversized dime with less features. Disappointing but not surprising.

They do (last I counted they made 10 different perfumes), started doing so shortly after 9/11, part of their diversifying plan.

While I dont use all my tools they are all SPECIAL to me.

I've got a couple tools in trade that have a special place for me.

DTT good to see you not giving that BS a second notice.  There have been some "jabs" thrown for a while now which is always lame.  If you want to troll do it on those other forums  :whistle: we hear about from time to time.

But I AM a special tool... oh, wait...

  :facepalm:

Seriously tho, I guess mine would be the Skeletool and SOG Switchplier 2.0, both might be seen a lil "quirky" by the average tool user, but the Skeletool has become my primary bike-tool and acing the job, while I just love the Switchplier for its sheer awesomeness  :D

Oh and sometime soon, LM Signal will join the ranks, just because...  ;)

My special tool has to be the Leatherman Sideclip, I got it free from basspro.
1 - Apply for credit card.
2 - wait for tool to arrive in the mail.
3 - drop credit card in shredder.
I carried that MT to work everyday, always took it fishing, it did repairs at moms house.
Then a couple years ago it came off my belt somewhere on the way to the lake.  :cry:

Mine are my two modded SAK's. The Greenwood;

And the Standard Issue Farmer;

I'm quite proud of both of these mods - they are 2 of only 3 I've attempted and I put a lot of work into them.

I've decided that I miss having a Flik and it will be added to my collection once more :facepalm:  It definately belongs in this list for me. Not the best but it has that special "something" about it that I'm drawn to

The Flik is definitely one of the great unsung multitools out there.  I've been a fan of it since it came out.
