Scissors are easy to get right, but time consuming. It's not a difficult process to adjust a peened pivot or crink and sharpen to get a good cutting action when you understand the mechanics (I've done it on dedicated scissors a few times), but from a mass production perspective, it must be a smurfing nightmare! It must be easier to get every other tool on a multitool or multipurpose knife right than it is with scissors on a mass production basis. All credit to those that get it right.
