Glad I carried my Wave today.

So I decided to carry the Wave today and it just so happens there was a busted sprinkler. Water shooting 20 feet high. I found the "underground box"  sorry i'm not real familiar with sprinkler systems. The lid was packed with dirt and it needed to be cleared. The lid also needed to be pryed off. The flathead handled both. Obviously this isn't a major job, but the Wave was there when needed and quickly gave me access to turn off the water. Glad I decided to clip it on my pocket on the way out. It just goes to show how being prepared pays off.  :tu:

Great work.
That Wave is so useful the variety of jobs you can handle it's amazing, it's really a great do it all multi tool solution. Both big Jobs and really small ones. From prying open stuff to fixing the glasses screws, especially if you add the flat bit kit, you really feel ready without beeing overloaded.

That's a time when the MT beats a SAK.  Those lids a lot it the time have small oval holes in them (the steel ones anyway) and the needle nose is perfect for grabbing and pulling them up.  The SAK pliers is just a precision tweezer and grabby thing for small light objects.

Good tools hunt in packs. I bet something like a Pocketwrench would have been better for the digging, scraping and prying?

Nice job Cap :tu:  These odd, unexpected scenarios are indeed why carrying a multi is a good idea.

It's awesome having an MT and being the guy who saved the day, isn't it?  :tu:
