Very nice pfrsantos.

Just wondering, anyone in europe have a beaten up compact?
Why? So we won't notice when you abuse it?
Drat, they got me!

Lol, I want a compact with an intact/slightly twisted combo tool, the condition of the rest doesn't matter.

Would a Bantam work? It's a little smaller, but maybe it would solve your problem. It's easier to find.

It would, if I didn't need to enlarge the pivot hole of the combo tool.  :-\
Hooked, like everyone else. ;)

All hail the hook!

Take a look at the DofE. It's cheaper than the Compact, and also got the file on the hook. Added bonus might be that the rounded off knife blade is more acceptable for you to carry over there, without fear of people getting the wrong impression

Come on, Al! It's Pablo! No matter what blade or bladeless stuff he carries, people will always get the wrong impression...

 :D :D :D :D
There's an idea Al.  :tu:

Lol santos.

You will...I'm doing a Scientist mod now and have to enlarge the current spare combo tool I have to do it, otherwise I'll have to break down one of the parts-Compacts I have.

I'll send you a 84mm tool with combo tool if you like Pablo.
Yes you'll need to drill it out but it's possible.
It's also useable in a 91mm tool but it'll sit a little lower.

Will have to send my only Waiter for it though, but anything for you Pabs :)

Why don't you throw caution to the wind, release your inner craftsman and invent the 'Pabs Tool' - It could do all sorts of tasks; ignite a flamethrower, open tins and bottles, prise legos apart, prepare a delicious souffle, press your underpants, de-tick a dog, and repair a trebuchet that tried to launch a Panzer Bjorn that was a touch too heavy for it.

The only limit is your imagination. Get set, GO!

Opps. Im not sure if he has the 91mm or 84mm version? I'll be getting it in a few hours. Is he holding an 84mm? Is the scissor springs different on 84 and 91mm SAKs?

Yes! A groupmate over at our local Facebook group has a Golfer and he agreed to trade with a Wenger pouch I have.

Killer deal.

I've got some beach front property in Arizona if he's interested.

My groupmate actually gets his stuff from the TSA

84mm Golfer... scales you can find... springs might be tough though

Opps. Im not sure if he has the 91mm or 84mm version? I'll be getting it in a few hours. Is he holding an 84mm? Is the scissor springs different on 84 and 91mm SAKs?

But I could be wrong... from the picture angle, the backtool pivot seems closer to the Shield... Either way, Golfer is a nice score...

I think it just needs the scissors spring, not the back spring for the scissors. That won't be too hard to get, I think.
