Hey Compact Users, how's with your blade centering? I recently got my Compact and found that blade is aligned a little bit out of the center to the right (closer to combo tool), after few openings and closings I see little scratches on the blade and combo tool, is it normal for that model? Thanks

Greenfish,

I have two (2) Compacts. With both of mine, the main blade does look like it's closer to the combo tool than the scissors. However, neither of mine shows any signs of rubbing against the combo tool. So.....I suspect yours is slightly irregular. But my only experience with the Compact SAK is with the two that I have. I may have the outliers here.....

Please be sure you have a genuine Victorinox SAK and not one of Butch's Chinese variants before applying for your Swiss Army Knights banner.  :pok:  :pok:  :pok:

The Duke (sheepsfoot in my case), gets a lot of carry here too

That's a cool mod, 50ft.

I'm a big fan of both the Sheepsfoot and Wharncliffe blade shapes.

Thanks Nix. The stock butter blade on these can be quite limiting, and this simple fix does make a big difference in my opinion, and i'm a fan of sheepsfoot and wharnies too

That sheepsfoot looks interesting. Mind if I ask how what you used to get the curve? Apart from the 2p piece obviously. Thanks
