Wenger ID please Part Deux!!!

Ok, everybody remember the 1st thread?

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,62696.0.html

In short, I missed an unfolded file in a seller's pic and couldn't ID a Wenger.

Well, a buddy here tipped me on another auction that I might be interested in. It was listed as a Canoe so, feeling lousy, with lots of irons I took it on face value (noting no imprint), bid, forgot about it and won.

Paying for it, I finally took a good look at it.....it looks just like the first knife I asked about but this time it really doesn't have a saw.  Came in today.

So, I'm stumped again.

Can't help, I looked through several catalogs and the wiki and nothing. I seem to remember seeing one posted on the forum before but can't find it. Hopefully basilio will know.

Try looking at some "Classic" models from Wenger catalogs. They have many different models like this

I exhausted my Wenger resources the last time I thought I had one of these.

Smart Knives lists it as a Canoe. Don't know where they got the info. My Canoe is considerably larger.

Must have been where the seller got the ID.

I'm going to have to start another thread.....was going through the pile and found a Wenger Skier, but it doesn't have a FILE!

Never mind It's the 1.34.03 Wenger AN - European version Known as Mountain/Ski, Mountain, and Skiloper.

Smart Knives says it shows up occasionally with a canoe on the handle. Wouldn't be the first time Wenger has used an inlay on more than one knife. Shown are two different sized knives with the duck logo. The fishing fly has also shown up on several different models.

Hello,
unfortunately I was never able to come up with a reference for this knife.
I even had a duplicate that I sold on the forum here.
Have a look at the topic below.
The original knife was listed in the first message under number 7.
I think the above topic could be interesting because, scrolling down, I see that the smartknives guy came in with the "canoe" name, mentioned by Karl.
http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,51832.msg974430.html#msg974430
In my very honest opinion the "canoe" name is not correct for this knife.

I really do appreciate it my friend!

Guess I'll call it something simple like a "Deluxe, Enhanced, Totally Awesome But Unassuming Traveler" or DETABUT for short and let it go......
