^^^Nice looking 35 R!    :like:   How you like it. I got one on the the 5th sent it back for exchange on the 6th The covers were not flush with the bolsters in numerous places. One bolster on the pile side had almost 3/4's of it were not flush and some of it was deep. My exchange is suppose to be here monday. It felt good in the hand. Single spring made it very comfortable. Walk and talk were excellent. Spring tension was good.     :)

I love it. Overall great knife, and the fit and finish is nice on the one I received. I haven't carried it yet. Might not for awhile--been in a Pioneer X EDC addict phase for over a year now (lol).

That's a nice one, David. Is the other blade a sheepsfoot?

Camillus 70 just arrived

Lots of character with pretty good snap spey and sheepsfoot, the main blade is a bit weaker but still has some snap left. I had to clean some rust of the inside of the back springs but I think I leave the patina on the blades.

Beautiful bone covers

Lots of character and lots of life left in the camillus. :like:
I'll bet if you oil up the joints and use it a while that clip will loosen up as well.

Thanks Dean, I did clean and oil the joints. The spring is just a bit weaker on the main blade, not a deal breaker. Any idea on age for this one ?

Very nice knife Steve!   :tu:.   :like:.   It has a short line tang stamp which from what I've gathered over the years indicates a 1946 to 1950 time frame. Trying to date Camillus knives off tang stamps is a exercise in futility according to some with more knowledge on the subject than me.  :)

This Camco 511 arrived this morning. Fit and finish is typical Camco. Great walk and talk. Good half stops on this one. The springs are almost to strong for this small of a knife. Some oil and a sharping and its going in the pocket    :)
