You can get a little bit more detail in my EDC Fixed Blade thread. I will soonish share some thoughts on those blades.

after flying through the Ocean and traveling around...
Nix's gift arrived!   :woohoo:

This is your definition of a high end production folder, pure machined perfection in the hand - and in the pocket, this clip is so well done  ::) -
Tolerances are really small (it's a Zero Tolerance for something, right?) and ergonomics seem tailor made for my hand  :2tu:

opens with a simple finger movement, all that engineering going on and moving with the precision of a Swiss watch. It locks with a satisfying clack, engaging the RIL without any gap and with a feel of authority. This one won't fail on you, unlike most budget frame/linerlocks you may find out there.

the textured scales are as grippy as they're pretty, not tearing your skin but reassuring your grip. The rounded flipper tab makes for a comfortable guard apart from being a simply clever -and very fun- opening method. It gets addicting, you'll know it when you have a flipper so well built on your hand. Fidget factor x1000   :D
The blade shape is an ideal jack of all trades, and while it won't be a Opinel in slicing capabilities and finesse cutting, the cleverly designed grind and  high technology Elmax steel will lend themselves to do most tasks and cover your cutting needs, be them tactical, practical or fantastical

so there you have it, an M1 Abrams with the looks of a Ferrari, a machined C130 with the curves of a Concorde, and a Titanic in the hand that moves like a Zodiac.  :ahhh
I'm so excited to experiment with it! It's my Christmas gift from this excellent man, made possible by this extraordinary forum.   :hatsoff:

and all that without asking me anything in return.
You folks rule!!!!

Have a very nice day mates!  :salute:

Mini Griptillian G-10 scales. The regular one is nice, but this one feels even more solid and with the blue highlight it is very pretty.

I got an unexpected Christmas gift from a co-worker to day.  The cool thing is he doesn't even know I'm a knife nut.  Being a gift, this one is going to see some carry time at work.
