Antonini Old Bear folding knife.  :woohoo:

Quite small (2.75" 420 stainless clip point blade), but pocket-friendly. Nice walnut handle and brass bolster with ring-lock. Similar pattern to Opinel, but Italian-made and arguably a little more character.  :pok:

Great value for money too ($20).  :tu:

Nice one, Steve.  Can't get much-more 'classic' than a PAL.  :tu:

:like:  Can't go wrong with a Sheffield Lambfoot! I have a Taylor's Eye Witness, just not too crazy about the very soft stainless steel. Those Wrights with carbon steel blades and wood handles I've been looking at getting myself. Unfortunately, only Rodgers and the other Egginton brands have a US presence.  The two Eye Witnesses I have were both used.

These are all in the mail. All by George Wostenholm.  $20 for the lot including shipping.

(Imitation) Tortoiseshell scales, four blades. One is broken, and the scales have large sections missing. Pretty sure it's rather old.

Jackknife pattern.   Decent shape, and a perfect size too; at 3 3/8" closed.

And the one I actually wanted the lot for. Electrician's knife, with spear and screwdriver/stripper/file blade. This is the first I've seen for sale after 2 years of digging, so I'd assume it's rather rare.

Gotta admit, the Russians are really doing some great stuff in the cutlery industry. Looks like a Kershaw Leek, but heavier duty. And, flat head screw hardware; meaning no searching for that tiny Torx bit I keep losing. :like:

Yes, they are.  Even with all the good things I’ve heard, I was still pleasantly surprised at both how nice it feels in the hand and how smooth the action is.

Because you mentioned the Leek, here are a couple comparison pictures.

Interesting history. Is it easy enough to deploy?

I'll admit I was not understanding how to deploy at first.  Its not a button per se, more of a sliding action.  Yes, once you get it figured out its very easy.  3 "locking" positions which is neat.  The pin that locks seems to do the trick.  Cool factor is very high with this knife.
