I picked up these this morning
A Sheffield made knife, army pattern but not army issue if that makes sense
Laguiole sommelier I think
And two Swan Morton craft knives

The Laguiole has a broken back spring

Except for manufacturer error (i.e. too brittle spring); I have always wondered how it's even possible to break a backspring.

Does Laguiole have a warranty?

Cody,
I'm not too bothered as it wasn't very expensive, It's another lesson that I should take my reading glasses with me  ::)

That is quite cool, Chako! I didn't even know anyone made those larger blades for utility cutters. :like:

Lowe's here in the States has a similar set--need to pick it up some time.  I'm wondering about the hawkbill/linoleum blade. I bought a Stanley hawkbill blade which was supposedly for "fixed blades only" and of course, my fixed blade Stanley was all it fit into. None of my sliding box cutters, or folding utility knives could fit it.

Good score on that Tidioute 93 Ramsfoot!    :like:   I'm waiting on the Northfields to come out. Thinking one in Cocobola might be nice. We'll see when they come out.

The Northfield one looks nice as well. This was kind of an impulse buy, hopefully I'll like it but if not we now you can lose money on GEC's  :tu:

One of the natural micrata 93's would go go with my 82 possum skinner. The dealers have them at a good price. I saw a couple on the bay for outrageous prices. But I'm trying real hard not to spend to much before I get back from vacation in Sept. Thats why I'm waiting on the Northfields to come out and see what they look like.

Well after a spell of not really seeing anything I want, these two came along.

The Heinnie edition Spyderco UKPK in S30V

And the friction folder version of the CLB Designs Boker Plus Subcom. I like the Subcom and Chad is a really good guy. Also worthy noting that the first knife released under the Boker Plus brand was the Subcom. It’s 440c but bear in mind a few years ago that was a premium steel.
