A Boker Urban Rescue Knife in camo.

I'd like to see some pics, if you don't mind.

I've been eyeing the Boker Kalashnikov autos lately, especially the BladeHQ exclusive in Mossy Oak.

I did it  , got myself a (sort of) SOG Arcitech Damascus. It is not an official version, as it is basically a A01-P jigged bone version with a Damascus blade (A03-P). Before it, I had a san-mai carbon fiber version A02-P, and wished for the other two, so it is kind of 2 birds with 1 stone deal for me. Strange thing is my A02-P does not have serial number like it is supposed to.

Seller's pictures showed the scratches pretty good on the bolster. I guess it was the reason the listing was on for a few days without one pulling the trigger. I was able to ask the seller to drop $30 from his initial asking price.  :tu:

So it came in today. The scratches were not too bad. I do not have all tools, polish compound... like you guys, so I used fine scotch-brite and chamois cloth to even out the scratches. The result was satisfactory to me, though it does not have the shine like the new one. What drew me to this knife was it striking Damascus pattern, so gorgeous. Notice the scratches near the tip of the blade. I think if I attempt to polish them, I may lose the black color at the area.

I really wish Texas Tool Crafters use this kind of Damascus steel for their Leatherman mods. This steel is so much more beautiful than the one they use from Alabama Damascus.

Nice blade!

So far I've been able to resist spending to get a  Damascus blade. But they look so good, and then you guys buy one, share pictures and tempt me

Was heading to the OPINELS thread to post a couple pics.
Clicked on the wrong link and went to the first page of this thread instead.
I had to laugh though, right there was the same Opinel and FG I was carrying today.

I almost picked up the same flashlight too but went with a headlamp to be hands free.
Here they are again one year later.

Interesting knife. Reminds me as a modern take on the old rope or sailor knives from the past.

The #12 knife and saw have been with me all summer long.
They're cool!
