Sweet! Are you going to get the tool for those triangular screws? I might, because my Microtech sometimes fails to lock open and I may have to do some surgery... The stupid thing is I can't send it to manufacturer because they can't mail it back to me legally.

Sadly, no. I bought autos over the counter, legally, in Austria, and the Microtech from a Serbian guy working from his home in Vienna. We discussed warranty, and he was happy to send any products to USA for repairs, but when I moved out it became impossible. I can legally own autos in my country, but the Customs would seize any autos shipped from abroad, and there would be penalty on top of losing the knife. So either I fix it myself or not at all. Stupid, I know.

But you are in Schengen area? So there should be no customs between states inside the area (ok you can't get something from the USA, but from nearly anywhere in Europe it should be ok)

Customs, Tax authorities, anything to do with imports, they are law unto themselves in Finland. They overrule any EU or other international agreements whenever they like. Take my word for it. I won't risk it. Besides, I can get the tool for twelve Euros on Amazon.de so no biggie.

That is a gorgeous auto.  In hand it looks to be a great size too.  I'd drive my partner crazy if I had one  :D

I bought this one "because" of my partner: I asked her which Microtech she liked most among the ones available at the store.
Actually she pointed my favourite : the Dirac, so I picked it in the color she likes most
That Axial symmetry is soooo beautiful

That's a good looking knife right there.

I just picked up this Husky multi-tool because it looked nice.  Cleaned up well too.  It'll probably be a shelf queen for a bit until I decide what to do with it.

Thanks guys.
I may have mentioned this before but I do have a reasonable sized soft spot for blades from Prato so this was a bit of no brainer.
Don’t want their whole catalog though, just the ones with interesting histories, current use/rs plus the pretty and/or handy ones ;)

I've been ogling the Shrapnel for years, but the price is prohibitive and I haven't had a chance to handle any ERs. And naturally I have more than enough fixed blades to last me a lifetime. Maybe one day.

I have really cut back [<<pun] on my knife purchases, but I allowed myself to get this Civivi Mini Praxis last week.  For only $29.75 shipped from Amazon Prime (U.S.), you get a sweet, D2 blade with flipper action, ceramic ball pivot and deep clip.  If Spyderco or Benchmade sold this, the MSRP would be $189.  I'm not carrying it during the Gerber Dual Force/Center Drive Challenge, but have it to look forward to - along with a pre-owned ARC - when March arrives.

Decided to treat myself with a semi-custom Michael May knife.  Based on a Trevor Ablett "ergonomic" knife.  Basically this one but with Stag covers.

Now just have to not think about it for 6-8 weeks.  :-\

That'll be a sharp looking knife.  You should share pics when you receive it.
